Ms. Noosrat Tasneem
Ms. Noosrat Tasneem is a Research Assistant at Bangladesh Enterprise Institute. Previously she worked as a Research Intern here. She is an accomplished International Relations professional and researcher specializing in governance, peace building, and policy analysis. A high-achieving graduate from the University of Dhaka, she received the prestigious Chair’s Award from the Department of International Relations for her academic excellence. Her expertise is demonstrated through her work at the Bangladesh Enterprise Institute and as a Junior Fellow with the Centre for Alternatives and the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, where she conducted extensive field research and micro-narrative analysis using NVivo 10. She is currently an EOT fellow at the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Bangladesh.
Tasneem’s background in international protection is highlighted by her selection as one of the top six students in a UNHCR-supported refugee law course, which included a field trip to the Kutupalong camp in Cox’s Bazar. An enthusiast of Japanese culture and language, she holds a JLPT N5 certification and co-founded the Japan Study Club (DUIRJSC) to foster cultural exchange. With a proven track record in high-level liaison and diplomatic event coordination, she is dedicated to evidence-based advocacy and global development.
