A Madrassa-College Debate Competition on the theme – Social Cooperation, Peace and Harmony for Preventing Violent Extremism was held in Upazila Auditorium, Sundarganj Upazila, Gaibandha on 09 September 2018. Sixty students includingthirty trained YFPSH (Youth Forum for Peace and Social Harmony) members from two institutions of the upazila, Sundarganj D W Degree College and Gurnoi Senior Fazil Madrasah participated in the Competition. The Debate Competition was held under the project named “(Youth Forum for Peace and Social Harmony)” implemented by Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI), Dhaka and funded by Global Affairs Canada.The Program was graced by the presence of S M Golam Kibria, UpazilaNirbahi Officer, SundarganjUpazila as the chief guest.
