Mr. Chowdhury Samiul Haque
Chowdhury Samiul Haque is the Deputy Director at the Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI), where he provides strategic leadership in policy research, program management, and partnership development. His work focuses on advancing evidence-based policymaking, promoting inclusive growth, and enhancing institutional capacity through multi-stakeholder collaboration.
With over eight years of experience in the development and policy sector, Samiul has held key roles in national and international organizations including Relief International, Save the Children, IUCN, and BLAST. Throughout his career, he has designed and managed initiatives on livelihood development, youth empowerment, social cohesion, and entrepreneurship—mobilizing resources and partnerships that translate ideas into measurable impact.
Samiul’s expertise spans project design and coordination, communication strategy, resource mobilization, and policy advocacy. His ability to bridge research insights with practical solutions reflects his commitment to creating sustainable pathways for growth and equity.
He holds a Master’s in Governance and Development Studies and an M.A. in English Literature from Jahangirnagar University. Guided by a passion for public service and inclusive policy reform, Samiul brings intellectual depth, strategic vision, and collaborative energy to BEI’s mission of strengthening governance, economic development, and social progress in Bangladesh.
