Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) successfully organized a two-day Basic Fact-Checking and Social Cohesion Workshop in Mymensingh, bringing together young changemakers to strengthen their ability to navigate today's increasingly complex information environment.

Through interactive sessions and hands-on exercises, participants learned practical fact-checking techniques, including reverse image search, EXIF data analysis, image and video verification, web archiving, AI-generated image detection, and domain verification. The workshop also highlighted the importance of responsible information sharing, digital citizenship, and the vital role of youth in fostering social cohesion and countering misinformation.

Empowering young people with these skills is an investment in a more informed, resilient, and socially cohesive Bangladesh.
