BEI and Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) jointly organized two workshops on NGO Governance Principles on August 16 and 19, 2007 at the BEI Conference Room. The board members and the senior management of the partner organizations (POs) of PKSF participated in the workshops.

The first workshop was conducted by Mr. Safi Rahman Khan, Consultant, BEI; Mr. Eftekhar Ali, Manager – Audit; and Mr. Nashir Uddin, Assistant Manager - Legal Affairs of PKSF. The legal aspect on the second day was discussed by Mr. Md. Fazlur Rahman Khan, Legal Expert of PKSF and Advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Senior management officials from PKSF were also present as observers at these workshops. 

About thirty-five participants from twenty-one different POs of PKSF attended the workshops. Participants at the workshops included Chairpersons, Presidents, Executive Directors, Executive Committee Members and the senior officials of the POs of PKSF.
