A four-member BEI delegation led by Ambassador Farooq Sobhan, BEI President, which included Ambassador Humayun Kabir, Vice-President, Mr Humayun Kabir, Senior Research Director, and Mr Faiz Sobhan, Research Director, visited China from 22 to 28 April 2012.  The delegation had bilateral discussions with a number of China’s most well-reputed think tanks including the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) and the China Institute of International Studies (CIIS), both based in Beijing.  The BEI delegation also held bilateral discussions with the Shanghai Institutes of International Studies (SIIS) based in Shanghai.
