The bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and Russia can deepen in the areas of energy, agriculture and transportation, speakers said yesterday during a lecture in the capital.
Bangladesh Enterprise Institute organised the lecture on Russian Foreign Policy in the 21st Century at its premises at Gulshan in the capital.
Trade, ICT, energy and power are the areas where Bangladesh-Russia relationship can move further, said Gennady P Trotsenko, ambassador of the Russian Federation to Bangladesh.

Speakers at a roundtable yesterday said financing and spending activities of political parties should be transparent and strictly monitored.
The suggestion came at a roundtable on “Party Democracy and Financing of Political Parties in Germany: Relevance for Bangladesh” organised by the Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) at the BEI conference room in the city with BEI President Farooq Sobhan in the chair.
