Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) organized a  Seminar on Entrepreneurship Development held on August 4, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the BEI Conference Room (House 20, Road 5, Gulshan 1, Dhaka 1212, Bangladesh).

Mr. Thom Ruhe, Director of Entrepreneurship, Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, spoke on “The Role of Entrepreneurs in Economic Development of a Country”, in which he also added what kind of support / facilities are expected from the government, which will motivate an individual to become an Entrepreneur. He cited examples of international practices in promoting entrepreneurship.

Distinguished participants representing Investment Companies, Academics, Chambers and the leading Entrepreneurs of Bangladesh were present at the seminar.
