The Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) in collaboration with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Centre organized a Roundtable Discussion on Human Rights issues as part of the activities for promoting the UN Global Compact agenda in Bangladesh. The event was held on March 10, 2010, Wednesday, from 3.00 P.M. to 5.30 PM at the BEI conference room (House 20, Road 5, Gulshan 1, Dhaka, Bangladesh). 

The objective of the discussion is to create a greater sense of awareness on the many facets of human rights, particularly that related to CSR among the UNGC signatories, human rights activists, practitioners and corporate stakeholders on how companies can actually practice best CSR in respect of establishing and promoting human rights in workplaces.
