A seminar on Industrial Relations and the Prospect of Industrial Development in Bangladesh in the Context of Globalisation

BEI is going to organize a Seminar on Industrial Relations and the Prospect of Industrial Development in Bangladesh in the Context of Globalisation at Narayanganj Rifle Club, Narayanganj on Saturday, October 25, 2008 under the Leadership Development Project to build the capacity of the trade union leaders of the country and to raise awareness on different reform agenda affecting the lives of working people, industry and economy of the country so that they become capable enough to face the challenges of globalisation.

Ms. Moshahida Sultana, Lecturer, Economics, Dhaka University, will be the keynote speaker of the seminar.

Dr. Syed Tarique-uz-Zaman, Coordinator, BATU-SAARC and Mr. Rumon Reza, President, Narayanganj Press Club will be the discussants on the keynote paper.

Mr. Syed Shujauddin Ahmed, Former Secretary, Govt. of Bangladesh will preside over the seminar.
